Walk with NoahWe would like to highlight a young hero in our community: My friend Noah Bratsch! Noah is a lively four year old, who was diagnosed with leukemia this summer. Noah is the younger brother of Samantha Bratsch, one of our fabulous SOLE impact participants. As their friend, I long to support Noah, his siblings Nick and Samantha and his parents Kent and Amy in any manner possible. As a community and as cancer advocates - This is a time of worry and exhaustion and I am asking you to help me make a bold statement of support. Take a step towards a cure and join us in walking to support Noah in the Light the Night Walk (Leukemia and Lymphoma Society) being held at Market Street in The Woodlands, Sunday, October 25th, 7:30pm. There is NO REGISTRATION FEE to participate - just walk with us - shoulder to shoulder, one step after another, one young voice changing the world! What a great way to end a weekend - getting exercise as a family and supporting a community of people who have been touched by cancer. SAVE THE DATE: If you would like to make a donation, the team page is: The SOLE impact girls all submitted names for our team and the Bratsch Family picked: "TEAM NOAH - Noah's Team of Hope, Noah's Ark of Believers". We will have tshirts for sale at SOLE impact for $10 starting this Saturday, September 26 with our SOLE impact logo and TEAM NOAH name and tag lines. More information to be sent home at SOLE impact this Saturday. I know many of you are already participating on teams or at other events that particular weekend...and I applaud you, support you and will high five you along the way! We are all in this fight together - many teams, many cancer organizations, many families! |
