Welcome to
Why Do We Run? For us it is very personal.
SOLE impact, a community fundraising organization based in The Woodlands, TX, is our response to the helplessness we felt after losing our own mother to cancer at an early age. As mothers raising daughters, women who enjoy fitness and education who are committed cancer awareness activists, we developed this program with the following mission:
To empower girls to be leaders in our community, fundraise for local and national cancer initiatives all while developing and instilling an enthusiasm for fitness and running.
The SOLE impact program is designed for girls ages 6-15 and consists of 6-10 weeks of more than just running:
- Importance of a healthy lifestyle
- Finding her voice as a cancer advocate
- Fundraising efforts
- Leadership skills
- Educational topics and guest speakers focusing on cancer prevention and awareness
- Smoke Free Texas Art Poster Campaign
- Community Outreach Projects for patients at MD Anderson's Children's Cancer Center
SOLE impact is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization (Tax ID# 26-0396582) based in The Woodlands, Texas that inspires girls to fitness, philanthropy and an end to cancer.
